These are simply suggestions and may take some creativity and extra steps to earn all the badges in various levels.

A Multi-Level Troop will need to do extra steps when earning different badges across levels. It depends on how many requirements overlap. Some will only have one or two matching requirements.

GSUSA has an Award Log for each level with a comparison table for all badges in similar themes. Not all badges in the same theme have correlating requirements – you basically have to earn two separate badges. We recommend a Fun Patch in that case.

Badges with correlating requirements means you can do an activity that counts towards different badges in the different levels.

Garden Badges

Badges that correlate from other levels

• Daisy – Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden Journey – Plant seeds and TAP
• Brownie – Brownie Numbers in Nature – temp measurements and plot a garden OR Bugs – Add observing and learning about bugs into the garden theme of the others (Household Elf does not correlate)
• Junior – Gardener – plant seeds, visit a garden, plan a garden (Flowers does not correlate)
• Cadette – Trees – make sure garden visit includes trees, design treehouse, plant a tree (Woodworker does not correlate)
• Senior – Sow What Journey – Farming information and TAP (Room Makeover and Sky does not correlate)
• Ambassador – Fun Patch (Water does not correlate)

It is not the same as the official badge, but a themed Gardener badge has been made by Girls Love Scouting for other levels. _{(Girls Love Scouting announced on 05-08-2025 that production of artistry badges were going to be halted due to GSUSA legal actions.)}

• Brownie – Fun Patch (Bugs badge and WoW Journey does not correlate)
• Junior – Fun Patch (Flowers badge and Get Moving Journey does not correlate)
• Cadette – Breathe Journey – add air quality information (Trees does not correlate)
• Senior – Sky (Sow What Journey does not correlate)
• Ambassador – Fun Patch (Water badge does not correlate and Justice Journey only loosely correlates)
