This is not an official GSUSA Badge. This is an interpretation by The Badge Archive on how to combine the requirements for Daisy  Numbers in Nature and Brownie Numbers in Nature.

What is this badge about?

Measure shadows, make up your own unit of measurement and measure leaves, line plot them, play with temperature, learn about seeds, and draw the right garden space to let them grow.

Our Summary* of Requirements:

1. Make shadows (yourself or an object) and trace the shadow silhouette, then compare the traced silhouette and object outlines or the difference between the silhouettes at different times of day for the same traced object.
2. Choose something (natural object, finger length, daisy related item) to become a unit of measure. Gather different leaves to trace or draw them and guess the length measurement. Measure leaves with your unit of measurement. Make a Line Plot about the data from the leaves.
3. Do a fun Temperature science experiment or make a season calendar.
4. Decide what to plant (edible garden, forest, herbs, or flowers) and get a list of seeds you can use and how much space they need to grow.
5. Pick a garden location (window sill, containers, or outdoors) and then measure the area and draw quadrants to know where to plant seeds so they have enough space.
