Multi-Level Matches
Check out other badges that might work well with this badge when doing activities with multiple levels. These are simply suggestions and may take some creativity and extra steps to earn all the badges in various levels.
A Multi-Level Troop will need to do extra steps when earning different badges across levels. It depends on how many requirements overlap. Some will only have one or two matching requirements.
If there is no badge in a level, we suggest that a level earns a Fun Patch related to the rest of the badges instead of an official badge.
- Daisy – Daisy Automotive Design – design for self
- Brownie – Brownie Automotive Design – design for customer
- Junior – Junior Automotive Design – quiz customers before designing for customer
- Cadette – Fun Patch (no equivalent)
- Senior – Fun Patch (no equivalent)
- Ambassador – Fun Patch (no equivalent)
Uniform Apron Placement
These badges should go where #18 is stated on the GSUSA Uniform Guide.
Note – Progressive Badges do not have to be displayed in a specific order, just earned in a specific order. You can either place them on the uniform so they are together in the order earned, or you can simply place them on uniform as you earn them and do not worry about saving room for the future progressive badges in that set.

(Note – Aprons are very popular for Daisy level due to the pockets and ease of staying on. When sewing badges on the pocket area, it can make it difficult. There is the iron on option, but many complain about losing badges and sewing is always the only guarantee to keep badges in place. Also note that there is not as much room for all the many Daisy level badges available on the apron due to the centered flower. Most scouts that like lots of badges will opt for the Vest.)
Uniform Vest Placement
There is no numbered Daisy Vest Uniform graphic, so a Junior level vest is displayed to show the correct area by number. These badges should go where #13 is stated on the GSUSA Uniform Guide.
Note – Progressive Badges do not have to be displayed in a specific order, just earned in a specific order. You can either place them on the uniform so they are together in the order earned, or you can simply place them on uniform as you earn them and do not worry about saving room for the future progressive badges in that set.
