First, Read the Information You Need:

Many lists for an emergency kit also contain items to keep you entertained, like a book, notepad and pen, or even a deck of cards.

Entertainment kits are a little different. They are a backpack, bag, or box that are filled with items that could entertain yourself and your family. Read about what could go into an entertainment kit on Preparedness Mama’s website.

Second, Choose an Option:

Using the Grab and Go kit you made in Heat and Light part 1, add an item that is small, but could keep you entertained for 3 days without feeling too bored. Make sure it is something you can use by yourself if no one else was around to play with you.	Find a box or bag that can become your family’s Entertainment Kit. Talk to your family and fill it with items that could keep everyone (your parents, your siblings, and yourself) entertained for 3 days without feeling too bored.
