Other Ways to Celebrate
👩🏫 Inspirational Stories: Share stories of influential women from history and modern times. Encourage the girls to discuss what they admire most about these women. Use a local historical woman as part of the My Promise My Faith Pin requirements! When not focused on a specific religion, honoring those that help our country that we have faith in counts. Remember that Daisy, Brownie, and Junior pins all have the same requirements.
🎨 Creative Projects: Create art projects that honor the women who inspire us. From painting portraits to crafting empowerment-themed posters, let the creativity flow! Earn one of the Art Badges while you are at it!
📚 Reading Hour: Read books by or about inspiring women. Celebrate their achievements and learn valuable lessons from their stories. Once again – you can use a local historical woman as part of the My Promise My Faith Pin requirements! When not focused on a specific religion, honoring those that help our country that we have faith in counts. Remember that Daisy, Brownie, and Junior pins all have the same requirements.
👩🔬 STEM Activities: Organize fun STEM activities to highlight the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, and math. Let the girls explore and experiment! The Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Coding Basic badges all require you to learn about a female engineer.
🙌 Acts of Kindness: Encourage the girls to perform acts of kindness and support within their community, inspired by the strong women who make a difference every day. Go big and turn it into a Take Action Plan for a Journey.
