After a Team Building Activity
Always have a discussion after an activity that is intended to help build teamwork. Ask the youth questions, like:
- Did you notice any patterns?
- What stands out to you about this activity?
- How do you explain what happened?
- Did you see any connections to other things you’ve done?
- What does this make you think about?
- What can we learn from this?
- Does this remind you of anything from your own life?
- What bigger idea or lesson can we take away?
- How does this relate to what you already know?
- How could you use what you learned today?
- What does this say about how we act or make decisions?
- What might happen if we do (or don’t) use what we’ve learned?
- How could you apply this to make it work for you?
These encourage meaningful reflections after an activity!
