November 12th

It’s time for Page 6.

Do you find yourself getting a little lost, or perhaps just sitting down for a new session freezes you up?

Don’t think about writing a whole page. Just write a sentence or two summarizing what will be on this page.

See? Much easier. Now that you have the page summary, then it isn’t so hard to just write. It’s already there. If you keep getting stuck you can leave it for later and move on to the next page. You have the summary to give an overview of what you’ll put there later.

Finish!

Page 6 complete. Go on to Day 13.

Want an Example?

When we skipped over the transition from Clara and Ava in the kitchen to a public space, we just wrote “something forces them to go out into the town”. Then the next page we wrote about hearing the announcement. We still wrote a page – just skipped one. A town crier shouted the news and Ava and Clara reacted would be the summary for the page we wrote that day.

(Go back to Day 11?)
