What is this badge about?
Learn about cooking basics, and make three meals and a dessert.

Our Summary* of Requirements:
- Tour a kitchen (professional OR home kitchen) OR invite a cook (chef, cafeteria cook, OR Girl Scout adult) to talk about cooking basics.
- Make a simple breakfast (yogurt and toast, OR different types of eggs) each day for one week OR make one full breakfast (French toast, pancakes, OR homemade muffins).
- Make lunch/dinner from a recipe (flatbread, international sandwich, stuffed pita, dumplings, OR meat pie).
- Make a new dessert (one you’ve never tried, using a substitute in a favorite recipe to make it healthier, OR a new holiday dessert).
- Make a full meal with a protein, vegetable, and a starch (salad, one-pot meal, OR three dishes for one meal).
