Released in 2022 (same petal, new requirements) but is considered part of the 2011 GSUSA Program.
Replaced the Flower Friend Story released in 2011, the Mari Petal. The Daisy Page has information on when all badges were released.

What is this badge about?

Learn about and practice being responsible for what I say and do.

  1. Practice watching what you say (play word travel, OR do crumpled heart experiment).
  2. Practice being responsible (make a kaper chart, OR play responsibility game).
  3. Practice being responsible in your community (make a pledge, OR brainstorm helpful ideas).

Requirements for all Petals changed in the summer of 2022. Most resources available use the retired requirements. The old requirements can still be used to earn the petals, but GSUSA prefers if new requirements are used. The Badge Archive shows both requirements (on separate petal badge pages) and still provides a list of all resource
