What is this badge about?
Learn about and practice being courageous and strong.
Choose your own activities!
Our Summary* of requirements:
- Find an example of courage (character from book/movie/show, OR a woman in the community/world).
- Honor courageous and strong people (make medal OR thank you card).
- Practice being courageous and strong (try a new outdoor activity, OR learn what to do when they see bullying).
* – This summary is based off the GSUSA Daisy Handbook.
Requirements for all Petals changed in the summer of 2022. Most resources available use the retired requirements. The old requirements can still be used to earn the petals, but GSUSA prefers if new requirements are used. The Badge Archive shows both requirements (on separate petal badge pages) and still provides a list of all resources from the retired requirements for leaders and families to use as they wish.
