What is this badge about?

Learn about and practice conservation in different ways at home.

Our Summary* of requirements:

  1. Find a way to save energy (turn off lights, plugged in electronics) and practice it for one week.
  2. Find a way to save water (shower/bath, brush teeth) and practice it for two weeks.
  3. Find one way to use natural cleaners (glass cleaner or veggie/plant spray) OR reusable shopping bags and practice it for one month.
  4. Find one way to recycle or reuse items (start recycling trash, collect 20 plastic bags to recycle, donate toys/clothes) and do it.
  5. Find one way to help air pollution (clean air filter, try natural filter for two weeks, make a natural air freshener) and do it.

Is there a matching badge for Multi-Level Troops?

There are no correlating journey or badges. We recommend a Fun Patch for other levels.

  • Junior – Fun Patch (no equivalent, but energy requirement could tie in to Get Moving journey, Gardener does not correlate)
  • Cadette – Fun Patch (no equivalent, but air cleaning requirement could tie in to Breathe journey, Woodworker does not correlate)
  • Senior – Fun Patch (Room Makeover does not correlate)
