F.O.N. – United Kingdom (Girlguiding) Display

This page contains the information you need to create your own Display Board for a Festival of Nations event, or to use at your troop meeting.

To create your display board, you will need a standard 36″ x 48″ trifold board and a way to print the materials provided in this guide. You may use either glue or tape to secure your items to the board, depending on your personal preference.

The information for these is provided on a word document to make it easy to copy, paste, and format as you wish. Download the Festival of Nations – UK document.

  • The upper portion of your center panel is reserved for the foundational information: the country map, the general introduction, a page regarding the WAGGGS Organization (Girlguiding), and a copy of the Promise and Law.
  • For the side panels, you have the flexibility to customize your board by selecting 10 out of the 20 or more available category options (five for each side) to showcase the areas of British life that interest your group most.
  • The lower center panel is designed to feature your choice of at least three of the 12 available sightseeing half-sheets.

(Optional) To make your booth interactive for a Festival of Nations event, you can select one activity and/or one food sample to engage your visitors.
