What is this badge about?

Write stories, poems, and articles to share with others.

Our Summary* of Requirements:

  1. Write a poem (1 haiku and 1 limerick, one 14 line sonnet, OR one free-verse).
  2. Write a 5 page story (mystery, humor, OR adventure).
  3. Write 1 page about a specific event that happened to you (favorite Girl Scout Memory, a memorable day, OR big adventure).
  4. Write an article about any subject (interview someone about an event, news about something that recently happened, OR ask 5 people about one questions and write a summary) AND make sure you answer the 5 Ws (Who? What? Where? When? AND Why?).
  5. Write a 2 page essay about something specific (favorite animal, a place you’d like to visit, your favorite book) AND include your opinion and 5 facts.
