Our Summary* of requirements:
- Explore how you want to lead by talking with the group’s leader, observing a meeting to understand the group’s dynamics and leadership style, and reflecting on your own strengths and goals as a leader.
- Lead an activity by choosing two activity choices that are hands-on, cooperative, and a youth-led experience that keeps everyone engaged. Then share and get approval for one from the group’s leader, and guiding participants through the approved activity.
- Lead your first full meeting by creating an agenda that includes activities, timing, and materials, preparing your space and supplies, and guiding the group through the experience.
- Reflect on your first meeting and use those insights to adjust your plan, prepare materials and volunteers, and create a second meeting that focuses on keeping the meeting scout-led.
- Lead your second meeting by guiding the group, encouraging youth to take charge, and reflecting together on how everyone grew through a girl-led experience
