Released in 2011 and is considered part of the 2011 Girl’s Guide. The Junior page has information on when all badges were released.
What is this badge about?
Host an event and use table manners, thank someone, and learn about the art of conversations.

Our Summary* of requirements:
- Learn about the art of conversation (role-play 10 questions OR make poster with 10 tips from books/online/magazines) OR talk to an expert (psychologist, motivational speaker, life coach, OR other conversation knowledgeable person) about the art of conversation.
- Practice table manners (brainstorm 5 substitutes for 5 bad manners, OR set the table properly) for a week, OR learn about table manners in another country AND have a meal using them.
- Answer 6 questions from the booklet about one special occasion (wedding, funeral, wake, bat mitzvah, confirmation, OR a Quinceañera).
- Thank someone (host of a party/dinner, 3 handwritten thank-you cards, OR a thoughtful thank you gift).
- Hold an event to practice making introductions/conversation, show good table manners, and thank guests for coming AND invite others (other Girl Scouts, friends/family, OR classmates).
