Released in 2021 but is considered part of the 2011 Girl’s Guide. Replaced My Portfolio (now retired) as the new Year 1 Cookie Business badge. The Senior page has information on when all badges were released.
What is this badge about?
Practice cookie sales, set a cookie-selling goal, make a marketing plan, learn social responsibility, and how to find customers.

Our Summary* of requirements:
- Know cookie flavors, costs, rewards, how to use the online site, what marketing tools are available, etc.
- Set a troop goal and budget and get feedback (troopmates, online research, talk to a business professional).
- Learn what social responsibility is (research) and share what you’re troop will do with customers (storyboard, team plan).
- Brainstorm new potential customers (talk to female business owner, “It Takes All Types!”, make customer database).
- Make a marketing plan (use digital marketing, research favorite brands, use your network).
