Listen to music, explore what music others like, and make and perform music.

Our Summary* of requirements:
- Explore music making (learn how to conduct a piece of music, find a song from 4 different types of performance groups, OR listen to three different instruments, when it’s played, where it originated).
- Explore music in different countries. (listen to pop from 3 different countries, compare the U.S. anthem with 3 anthems from other countries, OR pick 3 composers, at least 1 modern and 1 historic, listen to one piece from each AND learn where/when it was composed).
- Explore people and music (find favorite songs of 5 friends/family and listen to them, attend a live performance, OR interview someone with a musical job).
- Make music (make a simple instrument, compose your own song, OR make up new lyrics to a song).
- Perform music (share the music you made in step 4, perform in an event, OR play a solo in a performance).
