- Learn What a Pitch Is (5–7 minutes)
- Scouts discuss what a pitch means: a short message that convinces someone to care about, support, or buy an idea.
- Examples: ads, product demos, asking someone to agree with a plan.
- Plan the Pitch (5–7 minutes)
- Scouts write down short answers to help build their pitch:
- What is your idea?
- What does it do?
- Who is it for?
- Why would someone want it?

- Write a First Draft (10–15 minutes)
- Scouts use their notes to write a short paragraph that explains and promotes their idea.
- Encourage scouts to speak clearly and with confidence. This is their message to the world.
- Optional Reflection (3–5 minutes)
- Scouts share what was fun or challenging about writing their pitch.
- They note anything they might change about their prototype after working on their pitch.
