A wild animal is an animal that lives in nature, like in forests, jungles, or oceans. They find their own food and make their own homes. Wild animals are not pets and don’t live with people. Examples of wild animals are lions, bears, frogs, hawks, and dolphins.

A domesticated animal is an animal that lives with people and is cared for by them. They are our pets and farm animals. They live with us instead of in the wild. These animals are friendly and help us in many ways. Examples of domesticated animals are dogs, cats, cows, horses, and chickens.

Domesticated animals could be riding animals, pack animals, draft animals, guard animals, search and rescue animals, treatment animals, service animals, messenger animals, pets, and livestock.
