Who Am I – Animal Cards

Activity Description: Scouts act out animal movements and sounds while others guess which animal they are pretending to be.

Info Needed: Explore how animals move, hide, and behave by mimicking their actions or observing how they blend into their surroundings.


Items Needed:

  • Animal image cards (cut apart)
  • (Optional) Open space for movement

Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 15 min):

  1. Prepare the animal cards by cutting them apart. (2 min)
    • Use printed images or drawings of animals.
    • (Optional) Laminate for reuse.
  2. Let each scout choose one card without showing others. (2 min)
    • Remind scouts to keep their animal a secret.
    • (Optional) Shuffle cards between rounds.
  3. Take turns acting out the animal on the card. (8 min)
    • Scouts can move, make sounds, or use gestures.
    • Encourage creativity and full-body movement.
  4. Invite the group to guess the animal. (2 min)
    • After guessing, reveal the card.
    • Celebrate each scout’s effort and creativity.
  5. Repeat until all scouts have had a turn. (1 min)
    • (Optional) Play multiple rounds with new cards.
