*Inspired by an activity choice in the GSUSA 1980s program for Across Generations
Nursing homes and senior centers are places where older adults live or gather for care, community, and activities. Many residents enjoy visits from young people. It brightens their day and helps them feel connected. Activities like sing-alongs, games, and crafts are great ways to share fun and friendship across generations.
Before visiting, it’s important to ask permission and follow any rules the facility has. Some places may already have events planned that your troop can join. Others may welcome help organizing something new. Being kind, respectful, and ready to participate makes the visit meaningful for everyone.
