Items Needed:

• A camping goods store
• (Optional) Paper and pencil for jotting down gear ideas or questions

Instructions (Total Time: 30 minutes):

1. Talk to a Gear Expert (10–12 minutes)
   • A store staff member shares tips for cabin camping gear and planning
   • Scouts look around and learn what different items are used for
2. Ask Questions (10–12 minutes)
   • Scouts ask:
     • What gear do you need for cabin camping?
     • What’s one item you always pack?
     • Are there any fun or surprising tools campers use?
3. Reflect and Share (5–6 minutes)
   • Scouts share one piece of gear they learned about
   • (Optional) Draw or list what they’d like to pack for their own cabin trip
