Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 35–50 minutes):

  2. Design Two Prototypes (20–25 minutes)
    • Scouts create two different versions of their prototype.
      • Optional: Draw two different versions to save time.
  3. Test with Others (5–7 minutes)
    • Scouts show their two new ideas to a buddy or small group.
    • They ask which version people like better and why.
  4. Decide What Works Best (3–4 minutes)
    • Scouts choose the version they think works best based on the feedback they heard.
    • They can draw or describe what they’d keep or change next time.
  5. Reflect (2–3 minutes)

    • They talk about how it helped improve their invention.
