The Badge Archive

A Trail Life Troop is a locally charted group containing all units and age groups. Units have specific age groups called Age Groups. Age Groups then have Patrols, 10-15 boys led by registered adult leaders.

Units

• Woodlands Trail (Ages 5-10)
• Navigators (Ages 11-13)
• Adventurers (Ages 14-17)
• Guidon (Ages 18-25)

Trailman Oath

On my honor, I will do my best
To serve God and my country;
To respect authority;
To be a good steward of creation;
And to treat others as I want to be treated.

The Six Program Emphases are:

• Leadership
• Teamwork
• Character
• Wisdom
• Heritage
• Faith

Meetings should all contain the 6 F’s:

• Focus – academic or instructional element
• Fingers – hands on learning
• Fun – games or physical activity
• Family – family emphasis for the principle taught
• Forest Badge – which Branch taught and Leaves earned
• Faith – corresponding biblical truths, values, and wisdom
