Ages 11-13.
A Junior Patrol Leader (a Trailman, not an adult) and members help during meetings and activities. The Trail Guide or Trailmaster (adults) should only be involved when youth leaders are not making “satisfactory progress”. When possible, adult leaders only interfere to guide and back up the Junior Patrol Leader.

Troop Standard
A staff to display all earned medallions (Trail Badges) in Navigator and Adventure years. Trailmen nail each badge, rank, or award received to the Troop Standard staff. It is a part of the formal uniform, used at official events: Court of Awards, Board of Reviews, Parades, etc.
