Mountain Lions can camp with their patrol OR with a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult.

- Mountain Lion Award – the Forest Award for Mountain Lions
- Fireguard – Camp Fire Safety
- Woodsmen – Knife Safety
Timberline Award
A Mountain Lion can earn the prestigious Timberline Award.
- Earn Mountain Lion Forest Award
- Invite a friend not currently registered to Trail Life USA to a meeting, outing, or activity.
- Attend an overnight campout with Troop as a Mountain Lion
- Kept a written record of chores completed at home, signed by guardian
- Complete school assignments to do best to achieve A/B Honor Roll
- Planned a Service Project, enlisting fellow Trailmen to complete it – total service hours by all who participate must be 20 hours minimum.
- Earned Worthy Life Award
