- They write or draw each one on their paper. Examples: shoes, tablet, sandwich, water, stuffed animal, toothbrush. (Or use the list below)
- Label Wants or Needs (3–4 minutes)
- Next to each item, scouts write:
- N if it’s a need (keeps them healthy and safe)
- W if it’s a want (something fun or extra)
- Leave it blank if they’re not sure yet

- Reflect (1–2 minutes)
- Scouts review their list and answer:
- Did they notice any surprises?
- Which items were easy to label?
- Were any tricky?
