Info Needed: Scouts explore how to speak kindly about their bodies. They reflect privately on five body parts and name a specific, positive way it helps them move, express, or feel proud.

Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 25–30 minutes):
- Pick a Body Part (1–2 minutes)
- Scout chooses one body part from a list.
- Example body parts: hands, feet, voice, brain, heart, knees, lungs.
- Scout chooses one body part from a list.
- Reflect and Write (3–5 minutes)
- Scout thinks about how their own body uses that part.
- They write something specific and kind about it in a notebook or sheet of paper.
- Examples:
- “My voice helps me tell funny stories.”
- “My legs let me climb and feel strong.”
- “My brain helps me understand new things.”
- Examples:
- (Optional) Decorate the page or draw a symbol that matches the compliment.
- Try a Movement or Pose (3–5 minutes)
- Scout creates a short movement or pose that matches their body part.
- Example: Wiggle fingers, strike a superhero stance, tap feet in a pattern.
- They repeat the compliment aloud as they move or pose.
- (Optional) Do the movement three times while thinking about how strong, expressive, or helpful the body part is.
- Scout creates a short movement or pose that matches their body part.
- Repeat (15–25 minutes)
- Scout chooses at least 5 total body parts, completing Steps 1–3 for each one.
- They may mix movement types, stretching, posing, rhythm, or slow balance.
- After completing all five, scout reflects on what they noticed about their body’s variety, strength, and uniqueness.
