Scout-Led Obstacle Course

Fulfills Step 3 of GSUSA Daisy Petal – Courageous and Strong badge requirements.

Items Needed:

  • Tables, chairs, coats, shoes, and other items available for creating an obstacle course
  • Blindfolds (or scouts can close their eyes)

Instructions:

  1. Let scouts design and set up a simple obstacle course using available items.
    • Examples: crawl under tables, walk around coats, or hop over shoes.
  2. Have scouts take turns trying the obstacle course blindfolded or with their eyes closed.
  3. Pair each blindfolded scout with another scout, who will guide them through the obstacle course using words or gentle directions.
