While Rube Goldberg Machines are fun to create and watch, they prioritize complexity over efficiency.
Items Needed
- Mouse Trap board game.
- A large table or area to set up the game
Instructions
- The whole troop works together to assemble the Rube Goldberg machine piece by piece as part of the Mouse Trap game. Each scout takes a turn adding a piece until the machine is fully constructed.
- Divide the troop into 2–4 small teams, depending on the group size. Each team represents a single player piece in the game.
- Team members take turns rolling the dice and moving their team’s player piece around the board. As the game progresses, each team works to collect 6 pieces of cheese while avoiding being captured by the Rube Goldberg machine.
- Play the game together as a troop, following the official rules of Mouse Trap.
