Items Needed
- Ribbon (in troop colors or themed colors)
- Badges earned by scouts
- Pins earned by scouts
- Scissors
- Stapler or adhesive (to attach badges and ribbons)
- Marker or pen (to label or personalize trefoils)
- Cardstock or sturdy paper (for the trefoil shape)
Instructions
- Cut out trefoil shapes from cardstock or sturdy paper. Ensure they are large enough to serve as the centerpiece for the decoration.
- Cut long strips of ribbon and attach them to the bottom of the trefoil shape, allowing them to hang down like trailing ribbons.
- Decorate the trefoil itself by writing the scout’s name, troop number, and year using markers or pens.
- Staple or attach earned badges to the trailing ribbons. Arrange them neatly to ensure all badges are visible. Attach any earned pins directly to the trefoil shape or the ribbons for added decoration and recognition.
- Present the trefoils during a meeting or ceremony, handing them to scouts as a personalized and decorative way to celebrate their accomplishments.
