Items Needed
- Large piece of fabric, felt, or poster board for the banner
- Badges earned by scouts
- Ribbon, string, or rope for hanging the banner
- Safety pins, adhesive, or tape to attach badges
- Markers, paint, or stickers for decoration
- (Optional) Photos or printed designs related to badge activities
Instructions
- Cut the fabric, felt, or poster board into the desired shape and size for your banner. Ensure it’s large enough to display all the badges.
- Decorate the banner using markers, paint, or stickers. Include the troop number, year, or a theme that represents the scouts’ accomplishments.
- Attach badges to the banner using safety pins, adhesive, or tape. Arrange them neatly to ensure they’re visible and well-organized.
- (Optional) Add photos or printed designs related to the activities completed for each badge to enhance the display.
- Attach ribbon, string, or rope to the top of the banner for hanging. Ensure it’s secure and easy to display during the ceremony or meeting.
- Present the banner during a meeting or event, acknowledging the scouts’ hard work and achievements. Hang it in a visible spot to celebrate their accomplishments.
