Presentation – Bags

Items Needed

  • Small themed bags (e.g., fabric, paper, or reusable gift bags)
  • Badges earned by each scout
  • Name tags or labels
  • Marker or pen
  • (Optional) Small tokens or treats (e.g., stickers, erasers, candy)
  • (Optional) Ribbon or string (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Choose themed bags that match your troop’s style or event. For example, use bags in your troop colors or with scout-themed designs.
  2. Organize the badges earned by each scout, ensuring accuracy for each individual.
  3. (Optional) Include small tokens or treats in each bag to make the presentation extra special. This is optional but adds a nice touch.
  4. Write each scout’s name on a name tag or directly on the bag to avoid mix-ups. Attach the tag securely with tape or ribbon.
  5. Carefully put each scout’s badges inside their labeled bag. Ensure they are neat and protected from damage.
  6. (Optional) Tie ribbons or string to the bag handles for a decorative touch. Add stickers or drawings if desired.
  7. Hand out the badge bags during a meeting or ceremony. Take a moment to acknowledge each scout’s accomplishments as they receive their bag.
