Items Needed:
- Scout’s completed artwork
- A large envelope, folder, or cardstock sheet folded in half (one per scout)
- (Optional) Glue sticks or tape
- (Optional) Drawing and coloring supplies (to decorate covers)
- (Optional) Stickers or printed “Artist Portfolio” labels
- (Optional) Hole punch and string or binder rings (if making a bound version)
Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 15–20 min):
- Create the portfolio folder (5–7 min)
- Give each scout an envelope or folded cardstock to hold their artwork.
- (Optional) Use hole punches and string to bind the sides together like a book.
- Decorate the cover (5–7 min)
- Scouts can add their name, drawings, and a title like “My Art Portfolio.”
- Add stickers or printed labels if you have them.
- Fill with artwork (5–7 min)
- Scouts place their completed art inside the portfolio.
- If time allows, they can add a short description or title for each piece.
