Mini Art Gallery

Activity Description: Scouts display their finished artwork in a mini gallery for others to view and enjoy.

  • Fulfills Step 5 of GSUSA Brownie and Junior Art and Design badge requirements.

Info Needed: Celebrate and share creative work in a meaningful way.


Items Needed:

  • Scouts’ finished artwork from this badge
  • Painter’s tape or removable adhesive
  • (Optional) A flat surface like tables, floor space, or a wall
  • (Optional) Blank index cards and markers for artist name tags

Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 5–10 min):

  1. Pick a display spot in the meeting area. (2 min)
    • Choose a table, section of floor, or blank wall where artwork can be seen safely.
  2. Set up the mini art gallery. (5 min)
    • Scouts place their artwork in the chosen area, spaced out so each piece is easy to view.
    • If using a wall, gently attach the art with painter’s tape.
    • (Optional) Scouts write their name on a card to place next to their work.
  3. Walk through and enjoy the gallery. (3 min)
    • Families or fellow scouts can take a short walk to view the artwork.
    • Scouts can stand by their piece or let it speak for itself.
