Info Needed: Scouts should understand that sharing art helps others learn about their ideas and creativity.


Items Needed:

  • Scout’s completed artwork
  • A phone or scanner to take a clear photo or digital copy of the art
  • (Optional) Access to a computer or tablet with internet connection
  • (Optional) Help from an adult to upload the image and place an order

Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 15–25 min per art piece):

  1. Choose an art piece (2–3 min)
    • Each scout selects one of their finished artworks to turn into a custom item.
  2. Take a photo or scan the art (5–7 min per art piece)
    • Use a phone or scanner to create a clear digital image of the artwork.
    • Save the image to a device that can access the internet.
  3. Pick a product and upload the art (10–15 min per art piece)
    • With adult help, visit a print-on-demand website and upload the image.
    • Choose a product to customize. Some fun options include:
      • T-shirts
      • Tote bags
      • Mugs
      • Stickers
      • Notebooks
      • Puzzles
      • Posters
  4. (Optional) Share or gift the item (3–5 min)
    • Scouts can keep their custom item, give it as a gift, or display it at a troop event.
