The Africa Scout Day, celebrated annually on March 13, honors the Scout Movement’s contributions to Africa’s development.

Established in 1995 by the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), now the African Union, it unites Scouts, leaders, and supporters to celebrate achievements and reflect on future challenges and aspirations. The 2025 theme, “Shaping the Life You Lead,” emphasizes empowering young people to take responsibility for their lives and become positive change agents in their communities.
