GSUSA launched the Studio 2B program in 2002 as charms you can earn and wear on a bracelet. Click here for a detailed explanation of the history of the Studio 2B program.
Instead of handbooks, scouts could choose from a collection of single-issue booklets. They did not have specific requirements. Scouts set their own goals and decided when they had completed a focus book.
