  1. Explain to scouts that the Internet Safety Pledge is a promise they make to stay safe and kind while using the internet.
  2. Read the pledge aloud as a group, pausing to explain any parts that might be new or unfamiliar to the scouts.
  3. Give each scout their own copy of the pledge to sign or decorate. If they are not yet comfortable writing their names, they can draw a small picture or trace their initials instead.
  4. After signing, invite scouts to share one way they plan to stay safe online, reinforcing the importance of their promise.
  5. Encourage scouts to take their signed pledge home to share with their families as a reminder of their commitment to online safety.
