Games – Username Freeze Tag

Fulfills Step 1 of GSUSA Junior Cybersecurity Basics badge requirements.

Items Needed

  • None

Instructions

  1. Scouts spread out in a safe space to play freeze tag.
  2. Select one scout to be “It.” Their job is to tag others.
  3. When a scout is tagged, they “freeze” and must shout out a username they think is safe and does not reveal personal information (e.g., “PandaLover23” or “StarJump10”).
  4. If their username is appropriate, they can move again. If not, “It” keeps them frozen until they come up with a better one.
  5. Rotate who is “It” every few minutes to keep it fair.
