Games – Just One Word

Items Needed

  • Index cards or cardstock paper, with the following letters written on them: W, N, E, T, S, D, J, O, U, O, R – Or Print Some Out

Instructions

  1. Gather Scouts together and provide them with the set of letter cards.
  2. Tell them they have a specific amount of time to spell out “just one word” using the letters provided. The correct answer is “Just One Word,” but allow Scouts to work through it themselves.
  3. Observe how the group collaborates to solve the challenge. After the activity, discuss teamwork and communication based on their interactions during the game.
