Items Needed
- Paracord (about 6–8 feet, depending on wrist size)
- Scissors
- Lighter (for sealing the cord ends)
- Buckle or loop closure
Instructions
- Cut a piece of paracord long enough to wrap around the wrist with extra length for knotting.
- Fold the cord in half and attach it to the buckle or loop closure using a lark’s head knot.
- Begin tying a cobra knot by pulling the right strand over the center, then passing the left strand over the right, under the center, and through the loop.
- Tighten the knot and repeat the process, alternating sides until the bracelet reaches the desired length.
- Once finished, secure the last knot by threading the cord through the previous knots and trimming excess paracord.
- Use a lighter to carefully melt and seal the ends to prevent fraying.
- Fasten the bracelet around the wrist and adjust for a comfortable fit.
Variations
- Two-Color Paracord Bracelet – Use two strands of different colors for a patterned look.
- Fishtail Knot Bracelet – Instead of the cobra knot, weave the strands in a fishtail pattern for a sleek design.
- Adjustable Sliding Knot Bracelet – Tie an adjustable sliding knot for a bracelet that can be resized easily.
