Fairness on Wheels

Fulfills Step 2 of GSUSA Daisy Petal – Honest and Fair badge requirements.

Items Needed

  • Paper
  • Markers, crayons, or colored pencils

Instructions

  1. Ask scouts to draw a spider and a witch roller skating.
  2. While they draw, explain that the spider needs more roller skates than the witch to enjoy the activity.
  3. Point out that this is still fair because fairness means everyone gets what they need to have the same fun.
  4. Use this as an opportunity to discuss how fairness can apply to special needs.
