Items Needed:
- Adult helper for safety
- Cooking equipment (stove, microwave, counter or table)
- Ingredients for one of the two recipes below
- Spoon, knife, bowl, and toothpicks (for Walking Salad)
- Small pot and toaster or microwave (for Blushing Bunny)
- Apron or towel to wear during cooking
- Paper and pencil (optional for reflection)
Instructions (Total Time: 35–50 minutes):
- Choose a Recipe (5–6 minutes)
- Scouts pick one simple recipe to make, either a No Cook Meal like Walking Salad or a One-Pot Meal like Blushing Bunny
- Gather all ingredients and cooking tools with help from an adult
- Prepare a Meal (15–40 minutes)
- Follow your chosen recipe and make the simple meal.
- Reflect on the Experience (5–6 minutes)
- Scouts share:

- A meal they’d love to eat on a camping trip
