Bunny Trap

Similar to Leprechaun Traps for Saint Patrick’s Day – created a trap for the Peeps bunnies (or Chicks) can be a fun creative project for kids.

Items Needed:

  • Marshmallow Peeps (bunnies or chicks)
  • Small empty cardboard boxes
  • Cardboard tubes or paper towel rolls
  • Paper cups
  • Craft sticks
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Construction paper
  • Tape or glue
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Sketch The Idea: Use paper and pencil to draw the bunny trap design. Think about how it will work and what materials you can use.
  2. Build the Trap: Use the items provided to create the trap. They can make a pit trap, a box trap, or even a Rube Goldberg-inspired design.
  3. Add Bait: Place something tempting for the bunny, like a drawn flower, egg, or even a jelly bean, as bait for the trap.
  4. Test It: Try out your trap with a marshmallow bunny (or chick) to see if it works.
  5. Improve Your Design: Make changes to your trap if needed to make it more effective.
