Info Needed: Sharing a project helps scouts practice communication and celebrate their creativity.
Items Needed:
- Scout’s completed book gift
- (Optional) A small table or display area
- (Optional) Timer or stopwatch
- (Optional) Stickers or name cards for fun presentation
Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 15 min):
- Set up the space (2–3 min)
- Scouts sit in a circle or stand in a line with their book ready to share.
- (Optional) Use a table or display area for scouts to place their books.
- Show and tell the book (6–8 min)
- Go around the room one by one. Each scout holds up their book and says who it’s for and what it helps with. Keep each turn to about 30 seconds.
- Pitch or invite others to try (4–5 min)
- Each scout gives one short idea:
- Why someone else should make a book like theirs
- What they would add next time
- Who else might enjoy using a book like this

- Thank scouts for sharing and recognize the creativity and care they put into their books.
