Items Needed
- Jar or box for each scout
- Either
- Craft sticks or paper strips & Markers or pens to make your own cards
- Printout of Cards (Self Care for Teens or Positive Affirmations for Kids) for each scout
Instructions
- Write different self-care or coping skill ideas on craft sticks or paper strips or cut out the cards to use.
- Place everything in your jar or box.
- Use the jar or box whenever you need a boost, whether to revisit happy moments or find ideas for relaxation and self-care.
Variations
- Memories: Write happy memories or thoughts on scraps of paper
- Personalized it: Write your favorite activities, reasons you’re thankful, kind words from friends, or your strengths.
- Include items: photos, quotes, or souvenirs that bring you joy.
- Group Box: Create a family or group Bliss Box. Leave positive notes for each other, and anyone can open the box to lift their spirits.
