Bird Feeders – Milk Carton Feeder

Items Needed

  • Empty milk carton
  • Scissors or craft knife
  • Paint and brushes (optional)
  • Hole punch
  • String or twine
  • Wooden dowel or stick
  • Birdseed

Instructions

  1. Clean and dry the milk carton thoroughly.
  2. Cut a large opening on one side of the carton to create access for birds.
  3. Paint and decorate the carton if desired, then let it dry completely.
  4. Punch a hole near the top of the carton and thread string or twine through it to create a hanger.
  5. Punch two small holes below the opening and insert a wooden dowel or stick to serve as a perch.
  6. Fill the carton with birdseed and hang.
