Bird Feeders – Canning Lid Feeder

Items Needed

  • Canning lids
  • Twine
  • Waxed paper
  • 3-1/2 cups birdseed
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 gelatin packet
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix birdseed, flour, gelatin, and water in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Place canning lids onto waxed paper.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the lids.
  4. Let the lids sit for at least 24 hours to dry and set.
  5. Attach twine to the lids for hanging.
  6. Hang the feeders outdoors and refill when empty.
