Whether you lead a troop of middle or high schoolers, giving teens the chance to remix a song taps into creativity, pop culture awareness, and even digital literacy.

🛠️ How to Lead a Remix Activity

Invite your teens to pick a traditional camp song and remix it in a style of their choosing—rap, lo-fi, metal, jazz… the sillier the better. Whether the goal is performance, digital storytelling, or just belly laughs, this is an activity that encourages ownership, creative risk-taking, and genuine joy.

Remember, when using a free A.I. music generation software, you can download the song, but cannot use it for commercial purposes. There are many free tools to use online, such as:

• Suno
